Power management company Eaton and Her Spark are joining forces this Manufacturing Month to highlight modern manufacturing to Raleigh, NC area high school students.

About the event
Eaton and Her Spark work together to combat labor shortage, gender gap in manufacturing.
What: Event will include a tour of Eaton’s RPO facility, including the manufacturing floor that produces uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) and power distribution units (PDUs) for data centers, enterprises, healthcare facilities and other businesses, as well as the on-site Customer Experience Center. Eaton employees will present an overview of manufacturing career opportunities, and highlight Eaton’s early talent opportunities, including internships, co-ops and leadership development programs. Following the tour, students will enjoy a healthy catered dinner and have the chance to ask Eaton employees questions about their work and the facility.
Who: High school students (13 years of age or older) in the greater Raleigh area of any gender are welcome to participate.
Cost: Free! You must RSVP here though.
Clothing: Please wear sneakers (or shoes that cover your entire foot). Flats where the top and/or sides of the feet are exposed and open toe/heel shoes are not allowed. No sandals please.
Food: Eaton will supply a healthy catered dinner. (If you have food allergies, please feel free to bring your dinner.)
Optional: Free bus transportation from Wake Tech RTP to Eaton RPO and back to Wake Tech RTP will be provided. If you need a ride on the RTP bus, please select that option on the registration form.
