Personal information can identify you as a Site visitor. Personal information we may collect includes your name, email address, phone number and mailing address.
Our service providers collect certain personal information to process payments on our behalf, such as credit card or debit card, expiration date, CVC code and billing postal code. When you provide payment information on our Site, like credit card numbers and expiration dates, the payment data is transmitted directly from you to the third-party payment processing company and it is not stored by us.
We may collect information from you when you submit a question or if you complete an online application form for one of our programs. Our service providers may also collect information from you when you make a donation.
The personal information we may collect includes your name and email address, and is collected only when you voluntarily provide it, such as when you select the “Contact Us” section of the Site.
We may collect additional information about you if you submit an online program application through the Site. The personal information we may collect via this process includes first name, last name, email address, phone number, and mailing address of the applicant and first name, last name, email address and phone number from parents or guardians of applicants.
By initiating any activity or transaction that uses financial information on our Site, for example by making a donation or registering for a program, you consent to providing your financial information to our service providers processing the transaction to the extent required to provide the payment services to you.
When you interact with us through various social media, for example, by visiting our Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn page, we may collect information including your email address, location and other biographical information. The information we receive from your social network depends on your privacy settings. You should always review, and, if you prefer, adjust your privacy settings on third-party websites and services before linking or connecting them to the Site.
We may also collect non-personal information including the name of the school the applicant attends as well as the school district, city and state, ethnic background (optional), rising grade level and expected high school graduation date, favorite class or school subject, information about extra-curricular activities. We only collect this non-personal information because it is relevant for purposes associated with our Summer Summit and other programs and our research needs.
Non-personal information is also collected to track statistical information regarding the number and type of guests visiting the Site in order to guide our efforts to improve our Site. The non-personal information we monitor includes the browser type and operating system used, areas of the site visited, date and time of access, host or service provider information, and identification of the referring site. This information is used exclusively by us and our service providers for our internal purposes and is not otherwise disclosed to non-affiliated third parties.

Non-personal information and demographic information we collect may be used for research purposes.
We may also provide your personal information to our service providers who provide services on our behalf.

Technologies Used to Automatically Collect Information
Disclosure of Your Information
Opt-Out; Changes in Personal Information
If you need to correct, update or delete your personal information, please contact us by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you receive any promotional email communication from us, you will be given the option to “unsubscribe” from receiving further email communications from us at any time. Our Use of Analytics
Do Not Track Requests; Third-Party Tracking
Unless your browser settings are configured to make your online activities and publicly available information about your online activities (such as non-personal information described above) invisible to usage analytics tools, we do not presently have the capability to omit you from usage analytics to the extent your browser only sends us a “do not track” message and does not otherwise screen you from tracking without any action on our part. To learn more about browser tracking signals and “do not track”, visit http://allaboutdnt.org. Third parties, other than our service providers, do not have our permission to track which websites you visit prior to and/or after visiting our Site. That said, we cannot control all third-party tracking, and there may be third-party tracking without our knowledge or consent.
